Dr. Fardad Forouzanpour

Dr. Fardad Forouzanpour received his Bachelor degree in Biology from UCLA.  After completing his pre-medial education, he attended Midwestern University in Chicago for his medical education.

His clinical and surgical studies enforced his passion for human anatomy and the surgical field.  After completing his Surgical residency in General Surgery and Trauma Surgery he developed a special interested in cosmetic surgery and body reconstruction.

Following his residency, Dr. Fardad Forouzanpour gained acceptance to a general cosmetic surgery fellowship in Chicago under former President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr Richard Caleel and to be followed in Beverly Hills, California with Dr. Bernard Koire.

In 1998, Dr. Fardad Forouzanpour founded The Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgical Group. The Practice specializes in breast augmentations, lifts & reductions, eyelash transplants, rhinoplasties, liposuctions / liposculpture, abdominoplasties, labioplasty and more.

Fellowship Q&A:
On November 12, at 7pm(CT), well in advance of the July 22 Match deadline, there will be a Fellowship Q&A for potential applicants to ask Program Directors and current Fellows questions. This program will be like last year’s program that was done post-match deadline, but was very successful.  We are requesting registration for this no-cost program; therefore, capturing contact information. The program will be promoted to residents and surgical and OMS Program Directors.
Core Curriculum Review:
The fellows meet monthly for the hour-long Core Curriculum Review presentation on a key surgical procedure. Starting in October, during the complications portion of the program, the presenter will present a case study, in a HIPPA compliant manner. The fellows will be asked to discuss the best course of action based on their knowledge. Once the discussion is complete, the presenter will discuss how to avoid the complication, if possible, how to rectify it, and finally what was the ultimate outcome. The goal is to increase fellow engagement during the programs and increase their understanding of complications.  Please partner with your fellow as they prepare their presentation to ensure all photos and information are HIPPA complaint and patient permission has been obtained.
September Marketing:
A letter from AACS President and Fellowship Director, Mark Mandell-Brown, was sent to Surgical Program Directors and their admins. The email highlighted the fellowship program and informed them of open July 2021 programs. An email with open July 2021 fellowship programs was also sent to over 2000+ surgical residents, both member and non-member.
