What Happens at My Consultation?

During the consultation the client’s medical history is reviewed including history of tobacco use and medications. Using aspirin and/or other blood thinners can potentially increase the risk of bruising and swelling at the injection sites.

How is the Procedure Performed?

During the treatment client’s blood is drawn and is spun in a centrifuge to separate out the platelets and plasma from the Red Blood Cells. PRP replacement therapy uses the patients own blood hormones and growth factors to stimulate the hair follicles. These injections provide nutrients needed to promote hair follicle growth.

What are the Common Side Effects?

Side effects are rare and they may include swelling, bruising, infection or scar tissue formation at the injection sites.

Is the procedure painful?
